Back from 12 Days in Holland …

…I thought I may as well share a few stories and pictures … hope you’ll enjoy it

The vacation was absolutely great! I went sailing, hang out at the beach, biking (something that I’ve never done in Singapore), and .. shopping! [of course .. summer sale.. good bargain ] The weather was also perfect, except for the few days before and after the Final World Cup.. it was soooo hot. Well, this is actually my 3rd visit to Holland, but first time in Summer (oh btw, during Summer, 10pm is still as bright as 10 in the morning).. Although I liked this Summer vacation, I’d still prefer to go during March – April as the weather is cooler (but not too cold) and I think that’s the best time to visit Holland as the tulips are blooming.

And oh I mentioned I had a little accident .. well, yes it happened on Friday (one day before my flight back to Singapore)… you see when we were in Geldrop.. (Geldrop is a nice place by the way.. quiet place with lovely people) ..me and my friend, Hanny (she’s also Shinelight and Rainbow member) went for biking and I really enjoyed this biking session … (we were caught in the rain as well.. it was really fun!). When I came back from this trip to my sister’s place at Honselersdijk; three of us with my sister went biking around the area, unfortunately on our way back, I was trying to be so clever following my sister and friend, did a u turn and I lost control, and before I knew it, I ended up on the ground… it was quite a bad knock (my head went down first) and I was so scared if something is going to happen to me (but Dr said nothing serious.. thank God).. and he confirmed the wound will leave no mark in my face (I pray for this!). .. I know I learned my lesson.. i.e dun try to act like you know when you don’t!

So was the trip a bust?
Not all at. Despite the fact that I had a little accident I still enjoyed my trip and my fellowship with my sisters …:)

Now I’m back. I’m tanned, rested, and ready (OK, I’m not tanned, but the rest is true), I’m totally ready to get back to work… Thanks to Jayrene and Joice for keeping the site for me, and thanks to you guys for being here. It’s great to go on vacation, but it’s always great to be back home, too.
